1. Information We Collect

Veilys collects minimal information to provide the service:

Anonymous authentication: A random user ID is generated. No email, phone number, or personal information is required.
Encrypted content: Messages, photos, videos, and comments are encrypted on your device before being sent to our servers. We cannot read or access this content.
FCM token: If you opt in to push notifications, your device token is stored to deliver notifications.
Usage data: Message count and storage usage are tracked for quota management.

2. How We Use Information

To provide and maintain the messaging service between you and your partner
To enforce storage quotas and usage limits
To deliver push notifications (if enabled)
To display relevant advertisements to free-tier users

3. Data Encryption

All user-generated content (messages, photos, videos, album comments, and profile images) is encrypted end-to-end using AES-256-GCM on your device. The encryption key is derived from your couple ID. The server stores only encrypted data and cannot decrypt it.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Encrypted content is only accessible by you and your partner.

5. Data Storage & Deletion

Data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) servers.
You can delete individual messages and album items at any time.
Disconnecting from your partner preserves shared data on the server for potential reconnection.
Dormant accounts may be cleaned up after extended inactivity.

6. Advertisements

Free-tier users may see curated advertisements. We do not use programmatic ad networks. Ads are manually selected by the operator and do not track user behavior.

7. Children's Privacy

Veilys is rated 17+ and is not intended for use by children under 17.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is always available at this URL.

3. データの暗号化

5. データの保存と削除

データはFirebase（Google Cloud）サーバーに保存されます。
メッセージやアルバムのアイテムはいつでも個別に削除できます。
パートナーとの接続解除後も、再接続の可能性のため共有データはサーバーに保持されます。
長期間使用されていないアカウントは自動的にクリーンアップされる場合があります。

6. 広告

無料プランのユーザーにはキュレーションされた広告が表示される場合があります。プログラマティック広告ネットワークは使用しません。広告は運営者が手動で選定し、ユーザーの行動を追跡しません。

7. 児童のプライバシー

Veilysは17歳以上を対象としており、17歳未満のお子様の使用を意図していません。
